With only a few years of DJing under her belt, Clairevoyance, has been making her way up in Florida's drum n bass scene. After endless practice and encouragement, she proved her mixing skills and was accepted with open arms into the Venus family while also earning her first residency at the late, great club Cool Grindz. Shortly thereafter she collaborated with her crew member and now promotion partner, Meridee J, to renew the driving force behind Tallahassee's longest running and only drum n bass monthly, On the Offensive.

Her roots began in the darker sounds of DnB but these days her sets are composed of tracks by the likes of Danny Byrd, London Elektricity, Logistics, Sonic, High Contrast, and other liquid funk allstars. She views herself as a pioneer for the lighter, liquid sound as she has already turned many ears towards drum n bass with superior track selection and smooth mixing skills. Keep your eye on her as she promises to make a name for herself and her new found crew in Tallahassee and the surrounding areas.

As a DJ, Kandy Cox has a distinct sound and style that is currently rocking dancefloors in the Orlando area. Originally from Tallahassee, Kandy was first exposed to dance music in 96. Her energetic personality and marketing skills quickly established Kandy in the promotions aspect of the party. Kandy began DJing in 99 under the instruction of DJ Apple and she was hooked. Constantly honing her skills, Kandy spins sophisticated progressive house with a touch of intelligent breaks. Kandy Cox represents the Venus Presents crew in Tallahassee and regularly plays as part of the Stoutcast roster in Orlando. Kandy has a passionate love for the music she plays and it is evident when she spins. She is currently inspired by artists such as Donald Glaude, Way Out West, Hybrid, Rabbit in the Moon, and Plump DJs. Meridee J is Tallahassee's reigning queen of drum & bass. This Venus crew member stays in demand at top d&b events around the southeast. She has played all the way from NC down to South FL. She has opened for famous talents such as John B, Teebee, Universal Project, AK1200, UJU, A-Sides, Reidspeed, and Evol Intent. Meridee J has been the force behind several electronic events like Refresh and On the Offensive which were monthlys @ Down Below and Synthesis which was a weekly @ The Grove and several other special events. Her dedication to promoting has made her so successful that she has been interviewed in the FSView, Speed Magazine, and has had her picture in the Tallahassee Democrat in a story about the local scene! It has also helped her be a successful realtor which has a lot to do with promoting yourself and your listings.

Meridee J is an avid supporter of the electronic music scene in Tallahassee. She lends a hand to fellow promoters and DJs by helping spead the word about events happening locally. Her mailing list (which has over 200 people) and myspace are some of the tools she uses to keep people informed. She feels that if the scene is growing then we all benefit. Support local music!

The funky sounds of Seraphim's one of a kind house beats have fallen on the ears of Tallahassee and beyond since her DJ’ing career began. Born in Chicago, one can certainly hear the Chicago soul in her sets accompanied by flawless mixing which definitely helped her claim the title of Tallahassee's first female resident DJ at Late Night Library, Paradigm and others, such as Refresh and Cool Grindz. She frequently guest stars at local venues such as Tantra, Baja's, and Paradigm along with venues outside Tallahassee, Pensacola being where she frequents most thanks to the amazing house headz of that area. Although she leads a busy life, her DJ’ing has never suffered. She is always staying on top of what's new and hot and perfecting her mixing skills on a daily basis. While she plays many different types of house, she has chosen Chicago house to describe her sound and hold true to her roots.
